Precious "little" comment!
I got a precious "little" comment today for one of my posts, titled "Legalised bits in Mech Engg." I must admit that for a rather ordinary, inconsequential and innocuous piece of writing, this comes as a total surprise. Speaks volumes for these "people" and their mindsets! Also gives an idea of the plethora of junk, in the name of information, that is floating around in the network. Reminds me of Senthil's golden remark in a popular cult movie of our time- "Information is wealth!" :P

What made you think it was someone and not something! Man, it's a bot. Your blog is being spammed and nothing else.

Some jobless guy wrote this essay and another jobless guy wrote a bot (I guess in Java) to crawl blogs and post this crap anonymously. Since you've been spammed, blogs to whom you've linked and blogs which link to you also are prone to this spam.
Thanks Manu... i realised early enoughthat it was a spam.. the bot thing and techy details of how it happens, i didn't think of.Now that you've said so, i'm curious to know if there is anyone who has linked to my blog (and all of that banter).. i for one haven't linked to others'... besides, there's precious little that'd probably set apart that "someone" from "something".. to me they're as dumb as dodos were in their times!
